More details about this career opportunity kindly read the description below. Seeking experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our Medical Imaging department.
This position will produces two-dimensional ultrasonic r! ecordings of internal organs, using ultrasound equipment, for use by physician in diagnosis of disease and study of organs. Selects equipment for use in ultrasound setup according to specifications of examination. Selects transducer and adjusts equipment controls according to area to be examined, depth of field, and other specifications of test. Keys test data and patient information into computer of ultrasound equipment to maintain record of test results. Moves transducer, by hand, over specified area of body and observes sound wave display screen to monitor quality of ultrasonic pattern produced.
This position is scheduled a total of 64 hrs per pay period and comes with a full benefits package.
Job Qualifications:
Desired qualifications include: High School graduate as well as graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program. Certification by ARDMS required (prefer registry in Abdomen and OB/Gyn, desire vascular experience with RVT registry! , as well as current BLS certification, computer knowledge inc! luding windows/email/PACS, and 2 years ultrasound experience (beyond education). Previous experience with Phillips Ultrasound equipment (iU22) is a plus! Must show an exemplified level of customer service skill set.
