Responsibilities The ATC will assist multiple surgeons at Sports and Orthopaedic Specialists' five (5) clinical locations. The ATC will be responsible for ensuring the overall clinical efficiency is high and will be responsible for performing many clinical duties, such as Review of Systems, performing an initial screening, assisting the surgeon in documentation, as well as educating patients about their musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications Education/Experience Master's degree in Athletic Training preferred Minimum BA in Athletic Training required 1-2 years experience in a clinical setting is preferred Documented experience performing sideline coverage is expected Must have ability to travel between sites. Skills Effective communication with doctors, coaches, parents, and athletes is essential Must be able to work with patients of all strata, proactively anticipate the needs of physicians, and accurately document the physician's findings, recommendations, and treatment plan Successful candidates must be able to effectively diagnose and provide initial sideline treatment for injured athletes Licensure/Certifications: BLS, Certified Athletic Training, Medical Terminology Required Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Part time 20 hours per week Day Shift Exempt Non-contract Location/Community Information Minneapolis boasts being both cosmopolitan yet small enough that you can find a place to call home whether on a lake, golf course, or in an adjoining suburb.
