Responsibilities Candidates must have current RN licensure as well as IBCLS credentials Responsibilities include working as part of a team to assist families before and after discharge with simple and complex breastfeeding concerns to meet their breastfeeding goals Role includes phone triage/ consultation, appointment scheduling as well as providing group lactation education to prenatal breastfeeding classes Ideal candidate will have current consulting experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings Qualifications Education & Experience IBCLC certification/ Completion of State approved Registered Nurse program BSN preferred Experience required Skills Critical thinking and problem/ solving skills Strong assessment and clinical/ lactation skills Organizational/ time management skills/ prioritization Customer service and interpersonal skills Multi-tasking skills Teamwork Excellent verbal and written communication skills ! Computer skills Current BLS training Licensure/ Certifications: IBCLC, RN Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Part time position 28 hours per week Day shifts (8 hour shifts) Weekend Rotations: Alternative Weekend Plan Contract: MNA Location/Community Information Minneapolis boasts being both cosmopolitan yet small enough that you can find a place to call home whether on a lake, golf course, or in an adjoining suburb.
