Provides leadership and direction of operations, organization, administration, and evaluation of patient care. Develops, coordinates and implements departmental standards. Works collaboratively with other disciplines, departments, and support services. Accountable for the development and implementation of methods to improve patient care and enhance staff development. Participates in strategic and operational planning and appropriate allocation and monitoring of resources.
