Responsibilities
Responsible to carry out the full range of learning and development activities within the clinical focus of obstetrics. This includes: assessment, planning, design, delivery, and evaluation services.
This role will have a heavy emphasis on classroom facilitation skills
The applicant we are looking for will have skills in delivering training for assigned learning solutions, applies adult learning principles in the classroom, evaluates immediate learner response,acts to mitigate issues, and reports follow-up needs to leader.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Master's degree preferred
Qualifications
Experience:
3-5 years Learning & Development experience
3-5 years experience in Obstetrical Nursing, Postpartum, Mother-Baby, Labor & Delivery or Newborn Nursery
Licensure/Certifications:
BLS
Current MN RN License
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work with a broad learner base and wide variety of leaders
Basic skills in consultation
RN hires with less than 1 year of RN experience must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing (American Association of Colleges of Nursing or The National League for Nursing) which is inclusive of a clinical rotation in an acute care facility.
Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule
Full time position (40 hours/week)
Primarily day shift (some flexibility)
Occasional Weekends
Non-contract
