What we need:


Mohawk is looking for a recruiter to recruit for entry-level and skilled manufacturing positions as well as coordinate job postings.


What you’ll do:


  • Sort, review and assess received resumes
  • Contact potential candidates
  • Conduct phone screens with internal/external candidates
  • Conducts face-to-face interviews before management
  • Rank most qualified candidates for further consideration
  • Review top candidates with the hiring manager
  • Coach hiring managers on interview questions and refresh them on legal issues involved with interviewing.
  • Correspond with candidates not slated to be interviewed
  • Coordinate interview schedule with top candidates and hiring manager.
  • Conduct follow-up reviews of candidates with the hiring manager
  • Coordinate offer letter, background check, etc.
  • Correspond with top candidates not selected for the position.
  • Work with managers to review skills needed for open positions:
  • Review job descriptions
  • Create job postings and external ad copy
  • Post ads on job boards, online application systems, newspapers, or other publications.
  • Ensure that all candidates are in the applicant/employee tracking system for EEO/AA tracking.
  • General administrative duties. Other duties as needed.

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 3+ years in recruiting or staffing OR 6+ years and the combination of education and experience to accomplish the essential duties of the job.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and the internet. Experience in Lotus Notes a is plus.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn employment laws, regulations, and guidelines

  • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Ability to read, write and interpret routine reports and correspondences.
  • Good analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, follow up, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • An outward and inward display of professional decorum, tact, and integrity
