Job Description


Clinical Lab Assistant, Outreach

Full time, Night, M-F, 10:30p-7:00a, some weekends and holidays

Do you have a passion for customer/client service? Under direct supervision, assist our Medical Laboratory Scientist and Medical Laboratory Technicians by performing routine laboratory support duties in the Send Out and Outreach department. Assignments include processing and storing specimens appropriately, reviewing and creating transfer lists, checking test pending lists and interacting with internal and external clients in a professional manner.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with courses in basic science required. A.A. degree preferred.
  • Proficient verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to read and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • One year of customer service experience is preferred.
  • One year of experience in a health care setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of various laboratory instrumentation preferred.
