Responsibilities
Responsible for rooming and direct patient care to support a busy OBGYN Department
Provide support to clients regarding diagnoses and treatment and help with in-clinic procedures
Facilitate OBGYN clinic consults
Review health history, provide surgical information and pre and post procedure education per protocol
Coordinate scheduling of delivery/surgery as ordered by provider
! Act as a liaison in assuring communication of diagnosis and treatment recommendations to the primary physician
Act as the main contact person for clinic care coordinators and physician
Maintain positive collaborative clinic relationship with referring clinics
Collects data that is pertinent to the patient health or situation
Scribes for the provider during the office visit
Education
LPN/CMA
BLS
Qualifications
Experience
Excellent communication and computer skills
Ambulatory care experience and surgical experience or OB preferred
Licensure/Certifications
BLS
LPN/CMA
Skills
Excellent customer service skills
Experience with EPIC preferred
