Responsibilities
The Project Manager works with and will support the Virginia Piper Cancer Institute to develop algorithms of care for stage 0-1 breast cancers to determine costs for care for each of these algorithms over a period of 2 years
The goals of this project are to standardize and improve care with relevance to quality, affordability and patient satisfaction
The primary objective of the position is to lead and facilitate the study of specific team members to work at their highest competency, to create a database, abstract data and incorporate data into database
Education / Experience
Requires a B.A./B.S. in life sciences, nursing, or equivalent
2-5 years clinical research project management, case management, or performance improvement experience required
Previous experience with breast cancer or breast surgery preferred
Skills
Able to work independently and interdependently in a multidisciplinary team environment
Strong interpersonal skills
Develop project schedules and facilitate projects coming in on time within budget
Strong attention to detail
