Perinatal Clinic Ultrasound Tech Specialist

Description: Fairview Health Services is presently looking of Perinatal Clinic Ultrasound Tech Specialist right now, this position will be placed in Minnesota. The Perinatal Ultrasonographer in the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Center is responsible for providing an advanced level of sonography services for the woman expe! riencing a high-risk pregnancy. She/He works in collaboration with the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist through the creation of diagnostic images appropriate to the maternal/fetal diagnosis or concern and the gestational age of the pregnancy. The U/S Tech treats all patients in an age and culturally sensitive manner. He/She is responsible for meeting the established standards for patient care for this patient population as defined by AIUM and by the Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians.
This position will be located at all five of the following sites: University of Minnesota Medical Center (Minneapolis, MN), Fairview Southdale Hospital (Edina, MN), Fairview Ridges Hospital (Burnsville, MN), North Memorial and Maple Grove.
Job Qualifications:
Vocational/Technical Training and or College degree. Registered by ARDMS. Would consider someone who is eligible, but would have to achieve within one year of hire. OB/GYN credentials required. NT certificat! ion preferred. Minimum of two years experience as an Ultrasono! grapher. Prefer previous experience obtaining images in an OB service or Maternal-Fetal Medicine service.
