Job Description
Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing has a full time position for a BE/BC OB/GYN physician in a highly respected, physician led medical center in Red Wing, Minnesota. The ideal physician will work closely with multi-specialty group members and communicate well with patients and colleagues. This would be the third provider in a three-provider department.
Call is 1:4, and the physician will work 4 days per week in clinic. On average the Obstetricians see 20-25 patients per day. Start and end times are flexible and can be designed to fit your personal needs. Computer skills are essential with the EPIC electronic medical record. Obstetricians have both inpatient/outpatient responsibilities. There are approximately 400 deliveries per year. An electronic medical record is used in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.
Compensation is based on qualifications and experience, plus benefits and p! roduction incentive, with a one year salary guarantee. A gener! ous comprehensive benefit package is offered, including paid professional liability insurance. The physician is a member of the health care team who works in collaboration with other staff to provide comprehensive health care services to patients. The scope of practice of each physician is defined through the Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing's Credentialing and Priviledging Committee. The role of a physician is to assess, maintain, and improve the individual and collective health status of individuals in the communities served.
