Ultrasound Technologist

Description: Fairview Health Services is currently interviewing Ultrasound Technologist right now, this vacancy will be placed in Minnesota. Provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of diagnostic images appropriate to the age of the patients. Responsible for meeting the established standards of pra! ctice and patient care, supplies and equipment and for coordinating team work with all members of the health care team.
Casual Status
One or more years experience preferred.
Flexible to fill in for vacations, illness, LOA's or as needed. Must work 3-4 open shifts per month unless not needed. Ability to work overnights, weekends, or days. Must be able to work overnight shifts from 6:30pm - 6:30am to fill in for vacations as needed.
Job Qualifications:
Graduate from a school of Ultrasound. Current certification as a ARDMS. Must be registered by the ARDMS. Must maintain compliance with continuing education requirements set forth by the ARDMS.
Knowledgeable and competent in Abd, OB/GYN, Vascular, ABI's, Small parts, Biopsies, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis exams and procedures.
One or more years Ultrasound Tech experience preferred.
