Responsibilities
The Patient Care Supervisor functions as a supervisor in the clinical setting, as a resource, educational support, communication liaison, and role model of professional nursing practice
The PCS assists with the day to day operations and clinical coordination of the unit
Participates in planning, implementing, coordinating and evaluating patient care activities, staff education and management activities working with the Radiology Clinical Directo! r
The patient care supervisor provides co-leadership with the Patient Care Director in Radiology, supervises and works directly with clinical issues and implementation of new policies and procedures
The Patient Care Supervisor reports to Radiology Clinical Director
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Rn License in MN, ACLS, BLS, BSA, or BAN required
2-3 years of clinical nursing experience with critical care or procedural are a expertise preferred
1-2 years of leadership experience suppervisory/preceptor/charge experience or similar leadership experience required
Skills:
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including collaboration, conflict resolution, consensus building, team building, personnel management, coaching, and mentoring
Demonstrated clinical expertise
Strong communication skills
Ability to problem solve, plan and organize
Licensure/Certifi! cations: ACLS, BLS, RN
Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule
Full time position 40 hours per week
