As a Medical Assistant within the Broadway Family Medicine Clinic you will perform delegated medical functions under the direction of a provider or RN in the delivery of care for all assigned patient populations, in accordance with all policy, procedure and practice guidelines. The Medical Assistant supports providers in the delivery of patient care services. Prepares examining areas and patients for examination by provider. Records patient's medical history and other relevant data. Assists provider with patient examinations and minor surgical procedures. Administers injections or gives treatments under direction. Schedules or performs clinical procedures as provider directs. May perform scheduling, medical records and business-related tasks. Supports patient focused care.
To qualify for this role, you must possess:
Gr! aduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Medical Assistant certification or ability to obtain certification within one year.
Be a team player, flexible, organized, and possess excellent customer service skills
Excellent computer skills
Preferred
Lab experience
X-Ray experience
