Responsibilities The Pharmacy Operations Manager plays a critical role in managing daily pharmacy activities. Responsibilities include oversight of the following: m edication dispensing and distribution systems at ANW, West Health, COC, 36 hospital-based clinics; c ontrolled substance diversion prevention and oversight systems; USP 797 IV clean room (workflows; quality assurance; regulatory) ; personnel management (pharmacists, technicians) ; medication safety and medication use quality initiatives In addition, this manager assumes a lead role when collaborating with other pharmacy managers to ensure compliance with all Joint Commission; CMS, and Board of Pharmacy standards, rules, and regulations By nature of their responsibilities, they play an important role to ensure that a safe and effective drug distribution remains intact Qualifications Education & Experience Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) ! or Master of Science degree (or equivalent) required Completion of ASHP- accredited residency with health-system pharmacy administration or 2 years of management experience preferred Licensure/ Certification: Requires MN Board of Pharmacy pharmacist licensure Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Full time position 40 hours per week Day shifts Non-Contract Location/Community Information Minneapolis boasts being both cosmopolitan yet small enough that you can find a place to call home whether on a lake, golf course, or in an adjoining suburb.
