Description: Fairview is at present recruited University of MN Medical Center, Fairview-In-House OB Call right now, this job will be placed in Minnesota. Further informations about this job opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. The physician will be physically present at F-UMC and available to The Birthplace. That availability will be as follows:
Weeknights (Monday through Thursday): 5:00 pm to 7:00 am the following day. Friday nights: 5:00 pm to 8:00 am the following day Weekend days: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Weekend nights: 8:00 pm to 8:00 am
The physician will provide supervision and backup for all obstetric resident (primarily Community University Health Care Center) patients. This includes a physical presence at delivery, or for other procedures. Proper documentation is required in the medical record. The physician will provide backup for the UMP affiliated midwifery group. This back up may be participatory or consultative. The physician may provide consultation to other providers or provider groups. There is no obligation on the part of any group (e.g., Family Practice) to ask the in house physician for consultation. The physician will provide backup and or acute/emergency care for patients of other providers in the event of the unavailability of those providers as dictated by circumstances. The physician will provide backup and/or care and/or acute/emergent care for unassigned patients presenting to The Birthplace. The physician may, from time to time, be asked to provide obstetric or gynecological care for unassigned patients presenting in the Emergency Room.
