Responsibilities Effectively obtain patient history, screen for genetic factors, identify high risk pregnanacies and provide OB education appropriate to gestation. Collaborate with community resources as necessary. Communicate and coordinate with physicians, ultrasound and lab in regards to patient care. Complete, consistent and thorough documentation for each OB ED visit.
Ability to assist the triage department with refills and calls when there is down time. This position requires travel within the district (Maple Grove and Ramsey) to provide OB education services. Qualifications RN with current MN license. Minimum of 1 year RN experience in OB/GYN area required Computer and keyboard familiarity necessary Experience in an ambulatory care setting is preferred Skills: Ability to work independently, proactively and problem solve while providing excellent customer service Assess and respond to various patient needs quickly and efficiently Strong customer service skills required, seeking articulate passionate nurse who enjoys interacting and educating patients and their families Licensure/Certification: MN RN BLS Medical Terminology Required Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule 20 hours per week.
