Responsibilities Evaluating and treating acute and inpatient rehabilitation patients, developing therapy plans of care as well as short and long term goals, implementing appropriate treatments, documenting per policies and procedures, maintaining high productivity and performing timely and accurate charging of interventions. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited PTA program and licensure in the State of MN Medical Terminology Experience in acute care 5 years total experience preferred Able to work autonomously yet collaboratively with PTs to accomplish treatment plan goals Knowledge of and compliance with the MN PT Practice Act relative to PTA practice Ability to deliver skilled PT services in a cost-effective, high quality and patient-centered fashion Familiarity with assigning qualitative measures of physical performance to gross motor activities Comfort with acute care environments and complex medical problems Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Casual Position 2-4 Weekend Shifts/Month 1 Holiday/Year Availability during the week needed Days Location/Community Information Minneapolis boasts being both cosmopolitan yet small enough that you can find a place to call home whether on a lake, golf course, or in an adjoining suburb.
