Responsibilities Works as part of a physician/NP-PA team, providing and coordinating care for cardiovascular medical/CV surgical patients in tertiary care multi-speciality cardiovascular practice Diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate plan of care Orders conducts, and intercepts diagnostic tests Develops a patient-specific treatment plan and writes appropriate orders to meet treatment goals Prescribe pharmacological agents and non-pharmacological therapies; makes appropriate referrals to other health professionals or community agencies Qualifications Education/Experience: Masters prepared Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant 3-5yrs cardiovascular experience Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary health team Critical analysis and problem solving Proficient with electronic medical record Licensure/Certificatiosn: NP/PA Minnesota License, ACLS, BLS, and certification as appropriate for NP or PA Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Fulltime: 40hrs/wk Day Shift: Clinic Business Hours Exempt Non Contract Location/Community Information Minneapolis boasts being both cosmopolitan yet small enough that you can find a place to call home whether on a lake, golf course, or in an adjoining suburb.
