Responsibilities Answer telephone calls and process room service patient meal orders through computer system Review computer screen to determine patients that have not ordered meals and initiate contact with patients as appropriate Process faxed meal orders from OP areas Answer and process a minimum of 60-65 calls per hour Qualifications Education & Experience: High school diploma and Nutrition Education on modified diets Must have knowledge and understanding of "modified diets" and the ability to transfer that information to patient menus/ meals Previous food service or call center experience helpful Skills: Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, in English Problem solving, critical thinking and negotiation/ persuasion skills Basic math and computer skills Ability to provide consistent outstanding customer service Knowledge of modified diets and medical terminology needed Communicate with nursing staff re; nutrition related questions and other nutrition responsibilities Efficient in typing skills and use of computer Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Part time position ( 8 hours per week) 2:30 PM- 6:30 PM Every other weekend Contract position (L113) 2 positions are available, apply to this position to be considered for both Location/Community Information Minneapolis boasts being both cosmopolitan yet small enough that you can find a place to call home whether on a lake, golf course, or in an adjoining suburb.
