We are seeking an experienced and skilled Research Admin Manager under the supervision of the Principal Investigator in the School of Dentistry's Section of Biosystems and Function. The Research Admin Manager will have three (3) primary responsibilities:
1. Research Administration/PM: Demonstrated working knowledge of administrative and business practices and procedures; facilitate the proper management/oversight of research project coordination, lab orders, assignment of lab spaces to lab personnel, lab organization such as shelving and organizing research supplies and progress reports.

2. Assisting PI with Pre-award management: must demonstrate skill in research grant preparations and submissions, grant submissions with School's grant analyst and act as liaison to the Office of Contract & Grant Administration (OCGA).
3. Assisting PI with Post-award fund management: serve as the principal resource to PI regarding budget development, grant management, and must be able to define complex financial problems and propose plausible technical and organizational solutions to PI and act as liaison for fiscal management with the Finance Office, OCGA and Extramural Fund Management office (EFM). Strong knowledge and skills of UCLA Finance Systems are required.
