JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Scouts for efficient suppliers with quality products and services, stocks availability and terms that adhere to the specified requirements.
  • Know how to use social media networks and various platforms to look for and connect with potential suppliers.
  • Negotiates for best purchasing packages in terms of quality, price, terms of payment and timely delivery.
  • Responds to project site and supplier inquiries about the order status, changes or cancellation of orders.
  • Coordinates with the Warehouseman and Project Manager and facilitates ordering of materials when necessary.
  • Maintains knowledge of all organizational and office rules affecting purchases and provides information on these rules to staff members.
  • Ensures that all purchased materials are all delivered on a timely manner and adhere to the specifications indicated in the purchase order.
  • Prepares and submits weekly status report (DORPS) of all materials requested.
  • Ensures that all purchase orders that need to be revised/cancelled are prepared on a monthly basis for non-staggered materials and every 90 days for staggered materials.
  • Ensures that every procurement is done in accordance with the standard written procedure of the company.
  • Performs other duties as may be required to support the department.
  • Implements and complies with ISO 9001: current version-QMS.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a Bachelor's Degree in any business-related course.
  • Must have at least one year experience in procurement/logistics.
  • Must know how to use social media networks and various platforms, excellent negotiator and familiar with construction materials.
  • Must be very resourceful.
  • Must have good attention to details.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must have excellent phone manners.
  • Must have excellent analytical thinking skills.
  • Self-motivated person.
  • Must have demonstrated skills in the use of PC, Microsoft office applications, internet and basic office.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
