Practitioners work a 4 day work week.

Fairview Range is proud to offer full-time comprehensive medical oncology services at Fairview Mesaba Clinics in Hibbing. Dr. Anastas "Stasse" Provatas, Medical Oncologist with the University of Minnesota Physicians, provides medical oncology services at Fairview Mesaba Clinics in Hibbing five days a week. He also works closely with primary care physicians in the region to provide comprehensive cancer services for patients close to home. Dr. Provatas sees patients will all types of cancer, but specializes in hematological and solid organ malignancies with a special interest in prostate cancer.
We understand that no people - and no two cancers - are alike, so we work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that meets both your medical and your p! ersonal needs.
Work collaboratively with 22+ physi! cians in these specialties: family medicine, pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, internal medicine, otolaryngology, orthopedics, general surgery, psychiatry and sports medicine. Ties to the University of Minnesota strengthen the ability to access University of Minnesota specialists for questions or phone consults. Many other subspecialists are available through extensive outreach programs.
Onsite services include rehabilitation, pharmacy and diagnostic services including lab, CT and MRI, mammography, radiation therapy and ultrasound.
