Responsibilities Responsibilities require applicant to recruit study participants into a NIH funded study of integrative medicine and pain Incumbent will be responsible for recruitment efforts and independently screening potential subjects in person for inclusion and exclusion criteria Incumbent will collect data, including pain and mood scores and possibly saliva, blood based samples or physiological data Responsible for scheduling patients for study visits and entering data into databases Able to work in fast paced hospital environment with potentially sick patient Qualifications Education/Experience: Responsibilities require a broad knowledge of biological science and research acquired through a Bachelor's degree Required work experience in a hospital setting or research-related work experience Previous experience working on a research study is preferred- ideally with laboratory processing and subject recrui! tment Skills: Incumbents must be proficient in Microsoft programs, as well as IBM compatible computer systems and programs Medical terminology is required, but no required license Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Full time temporary position (40 hours/week) Day/Evening/Night Shift No weekends Non-Contract Location/Community Information Minneapolis boasts being both cosmopolitan yet small enough that you can find a place to call home whether on a lake, golf course, or in an adjoining suburb.
