Responsibilities
Credentialing - processing applications for medical staff and AHPS applying for privileges/membership in accordance with policies and medical staff bylaws.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Associate degree required; bachelors preferred 3+ years in hospital credentialing Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures used in healthcare and physician credentialing Skills
Ability to work with customers effectively in sensitive/confidential manner Evaluate files Have verbal and w! ritten skills and able to take minutes Have experience with computers - word-processing and spreadsheet programs and credentialing software-cactus desirable Have interpersonal skills and ability to work independently Must be organized and have critical thinking skills
Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule
Full time position 40 hours/week Day shift 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Non-contract
