Education/Experience:
BSN/BAN from an accredited school of nursing required.
Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:
1. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
2. Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License.
3. Currently validated CPR skills.
Additional Information
2NS is a 22-bed medical and surgical intensive care unit providing care to a variety of critically ill patient populations including but not limited to open heart surgery, pulmonary, neurosurgery, stroke/neurology, GI/Renal, general surgery, obstetric emergencies, cardiac arrest, complex cardiology.
Candidate must have 2+ years inpatient acute care experiernce, preferably ICU, intermediate care unit experience, and/or telemetry experience. BLS required, ACLS preferred.
Position is 0.75 FTE (5-12hr s hifts in two weeks), D/N rotating, every 3rd wknd.
