A primary goal of Chick-fil-A® restaurants is to “have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A” and to provide Genuine Hospitality to all Customers. Every Customer experience should be as memorable as the food he or she eats. The role of a Hospitality Team Member is to treat all with honor, dignity and respect. This is done by going the 1st Mile and the 2nd Mile. The 1st Mile is showing care to guests by creating eye contact, sharing a smile, speaking with a friendly tone and always saying “My Pleasure." Delivering 2nd Mile Service is about creating a moment for Customers. While this is required, this can come to life in a variety of ways to deliever personalized care above and beyond Cutomer's expectations.

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. Whole lemons are freshly squeezed in our restaurants and combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that’s all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade®. It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.
